中国国有企业两名最资深的经理人昨日辞去自己的首席执行官(CEO)职务，这是分隔CEO与董事长职务的一系列行动的最新动态。
在海上油气开采公司中海油(CNOOC)，傅成玉辞去CEO一职，但保留董事长职务，而中国移动(China Mobile)的王建宙采取了类似行动。
负责监督大型国有企业的中国国资委一直在推动企业建立独立董事会，但在这方面往往遇到阻力。
不过，过去几年里，有多家企业任命了与董事长不是同一人的新CEO。
这些企业包括国家开发银行(China Development Bank)，该行在2008年任命蒋超良为行长，当时原行长陈元出任董事长。

现年48岁的杨华拥有大量海外工作经验，很可能会继续聚焦于海外扩张。他曾深入参与2001年中海油的上市行动，从美国麻省理工学院斯隆商学院(MIT Sloan School of Business)获得硕士学位，并曾在东南亚运营中海油业务数年。

Two of the most senior managers at Chinese state-owned enterprises resigned from their chief executive posts yesterday, the latest in a series of moves separating the roles of CEO and chairman.
At CNOOC, Fu Chengyu resigned but is keeping his role as chairman of the offshore oil and gas company, while Wang Jianzhou at China Mobile did likewise.
China's State Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the body which oversees large state corporations, has been pushing companies to develop independent boards but has often met resistance.
However, over the past few years several companies have appointed new CEOs who are not chairman of the board.
These include China Development Bank, which appointed Jiang Chaoliang as president in 2008 while the bank's head, Chen Yuan, became chairman.
In May China Mobile Group created a board chaired by Mr Wang, who was also CEO of the company's listed unit at the time. Yesterday Li Yue, formerly vice president, succeeded him as chief executive.
Mr Li, 51, takes over amid slower growth and sliding profitability in the Chinese telecoms sector. The widely expected move completes a reshuffle aimed at handing leadership to a new generation and improving corporate governance.
China Mobile, the market leader, reported 7 per cent growth in net profit for the second quarter.
At CNOOC, Mr Fu will be replaced by Yang Hua, currently president and chief financial officer, but will remain as chairman.
Mr Fu, 59, who has been CEO since 2003, spearheaded CNOOC's failed bid for Unocal of the US and led the company through a period of rapid growth and overseas expansion. People close to the company suggested that the move was a normal progression, not necessarily linked to Sasac's governance reform efforts.
Mr Yang, 48, has worked extensively overseas and is likely to continue the focus on international expansion. He was deeply involved in CNOOC's listing in 2001, gained a master's degree at the MIT Sloan School of Business and ran CNOOC's operations in south-east Asia for several years.
Observers say the change in leadership was signalled in May, when Sasac announced five promotions within CNOOC.
CNOOC reported net profits up 110 per cent at RMB26bn for the first half of this year.
Production rose 40.8 per cent year-on-year.
